Tottenham reportedly in advanced talks with giants over major transfer

Harry Kane

Diario Gol have claimed that talks between Tottenham and Real Madrid over a potential sale of striker Harry Kane are so advanced that the England international has even outlined a desire to take the number 10 jersey at Los Blancos which is worn by Luka Modric.

Despite his excellent form this season, Kane recently admitted that he has yet to begin talks over a new deal with his boyhood club and this will only increase the speculation surrounding his future.

Kane’s performances have caught the eye of Real president Florentino Perez who sees the 24-year-old as a perfect replacement for Karim Benzema who the Spanish giants will likely look to offload at the end of the season.

Kane recently admitted that there is a need for Spurs to win more trophies and said: ‘I’ve always said (what the club needs to do): keep progressing, keep getting better, we want to start winning trophies,’ he said. That’s the aim, as long as the club keep doing that then, yeah, I’m happy here.’
