Daily Express reports that according to the local bookmaker Coral, the vast amount of money has been placed ‘in the last couple of hours’ on Manuel Lanzini’s transfer from West Ham to Liverpool in January transfer window.
The departure of Philippe Coutinho to Barcelona earlier this month has left a huge gap in Jurgen Klopp’s team.
It will be hard for Liverpool to find a footballer of his quality, but the club must bring a player of similar characteristics if they want to remain competitive in the Champions League and the domestic championship.
Now according to reports, the 24-year-old Manuel Lanzini is among the candidates to take Coutinho’s place at Anfield.
The Argentinean playmaker established himself as a regular first-team player at West Ham over the last couple of seasons. He has excellent technique and vision, and plenty of Premier League experience, which make him a perfect replacement for Brazilian star.
This information, however, comes from the bookmaker, so it should be taken with a grain of salt.
