According to reports, Tottenham are monitoring the progress of impressive Lyon teenager Willem Geubbels.
Mauricio Pochettino may look to improve his squad during this months transfer window, but if he does, it is likely that he will now with proven players at the highest level rather than inexperienced and untested youth stars.
Pochettino is however a fan of youth players and Geubbels is one such player who could become a star in the future years to come.
Despite being only 16-years old, Geubbels has shown maturity far beyond his age and has already made three first team appearances for Lyon.
A winger, Geubbels has impressive pace and plays with fearless aggression that will surely be appealing to Spurs manager Pochettino.
It has been claimed that Lyon have already rejected an approach from Red Bull Salzburg for the player.
It is unlikely that Spurs will sign the youngster this month, however it will be a major coup if they do sign him during the summer.
