Sunderland boss Coleman admits these two players could leave this month

Sunderland manager Chris Coleman has suggested that Jack Rodwell and Didier N’Dong are two players who could end up leaving the club this month.

Both players have fallen down the pecking order since Coleman succeeded Simon Grayson as manager of the club and it appears that the manager is not a fan of the duo.

The Black Cats will be looking to raise funds in order to bolster their side to try and avoid relegation from the Championship this season and Coleman has suggested that a number of fringe playes are available for sale.

He has added that Rodwell and N’Dong are two players who could well soon depart.

“Obviously, a couple of them may not be with us – Ndong, Rodwell, we don’t know – so [midfield] it is a position we need a bit of cover in certainly,” Coleman said.

N’Dong is currently being linked with Premier League club Watford while it remains to be seen what will happen to Rodwell who has been a flop since arriving at the Stadium of Light.
