Leeds have been handed a boost in their pursuit of Liverpool teenage sensation Ben Woodburn, as the Reds have revealed the only condition needed to sanction a deal.
Manager Jurgen Klopp have sanctioned a loan deal for the 18-year-old winger until the end of the campaign, but only guarantees of regular playing time from any of his suitors will see Liverpool agree to a switch.
Woodburn is also wanted by Preston North End, Sunderland and Norwich City who are all keen to add the exciting attacking prodigy to their ranks.
Leeds haven’t really exploited playing wide as an option this term, and that could be down to their lack of a regular threat on the wings.
They can, however, land one in the Welsh international whose mobility and keen eye for goals could see him contribute immensely to the Whites promotion charge.
Woodburn won’t be walking into manager Thomas Christiansen’s starting XI, but he could prove to be a constant threat off the bench capable of adding dynamism to the team’s attack.
Leeds shouldn’t hesitate to strike a deal with Liverpool as such top shrewd business shouldn’t be missed.
