Liverpool and Crystal Palace are set to battle in the race to sign PSG goalkeeper Kevin Trapp who wants to move away from the French giants.
The 27-year-old has struggled to earn regular game time this season and has made just two appearances in the Ligue 1 this season with manager Unai Emery preferring to utilize Alphonse Areola as his first choice shot-stopper.
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is searching for a new first choice goalkeeper given that Simon Mignolet and Loris Karius have both failed to convince that they can be long-term first choice goalkeepers.
Eagles boss Roy Hodgson meanwhile is also interested in Trapp and will be looking to make additions to his squad in January in order to boost their chances of avoiding relegation this season.
Trapp’s agent Jorg Neubauer has confirmed that the player wants to leave PSG and said: “If there’s a chance in the winter, Kevin wants to leave Paris.”
