Jordan Henderson will miss Liverpool’s game against Swansea on Tuesday due to a hamstring injury.
The 27-year old was forced to limp off after 14 minutes during the Reds 3-3 draw with Arsenal on Friday and could be set to miss the next few weeks.
James Milner or Georginio Wijnaldum who played during the second half during the game against Arsenal will be in line to replace him.
Liverpool face a difficult next few days as they will have to face off against Leicester four days after playing Swansea before playing against Burnley on New Year’s Day.
“The problem is that Hendo will not feature for sure, he is out,” Klopp told Liverpool’s official website.
“That makes it even worse, the feeling of [the result at Arsenal], because so far we were really okay with this kind of injury and now it happened in the middle of the [busy] period, or whatever.
“[It’s] not too cool but I heard nobody else [is injured], a few knocks as it always is, but they should be okay again. That’s the situation.”
