Sunderland receive huge boost in hopes of signing EPL youngster

Sunderland have received a boost in their hopes of signing Liverpool youngster Ben Woodburn on loan in January after it has emerged that Jurgen Klopp will allow the Wales international to leave the club in this winger.

Black Cats boss Chris Coleman is keen to land Woodburn on loan in January in order to boost his sides chances of avoiding relegation this season, though he will face stiff competition.

However it is said that Woodburn is himself keen on moving to Sunderland in order to gain more first team experience and it was Coleman who handed the youngster his Wales national team debut earlier on during the year against Austria.

Coleman has the advantage of knowing Woodburn and his family and he also played a key role in convincing the player to choose to represent Wales at international level ahead of England.

Woodburn joining Sunderland looks likely provided that Klopp allows for the move.
