According to Spanish outlet Don Balon, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has asked Barcelona for cash as well as Sergi Roberto if he is to sell Philippe Coutinho during the January transfer window.
Ernesto Valverde’s team made repeated bids to try and lure the Brazil international during the summer transfer window.
Coutinho reportedly wanted the move and even handed in transfer requests in order to make it happen, however in the end, Liverpool held firm on their stance that they would not sell.
It has now been claimed that Klopp is prepared to allow Coutinho to leave in January but wishes to have Coutinho as well as cash in return if that is to happen.
Barcelona ideally do not want to lose Roberto but are prepared to part ways with ArdaTuran, Andre Gomes or Gerard Deulofeu.
Klopp reportedly is not interested in Turan or Gomes though Deulofeu could be a viable option.
