Aston Villa reportedly keen on signing South American attacker from EPL

According to a report published by the Birmingham Mail, Aston Villa are interested in signing Leicester striker Leonardo Ulloa during the January transfer window.

The Villains are looking to sign a new striker in January with Jonathan Kodjia unavailable through injury.

Though Keinan Davis is showing promise, he is still very inexperienced and it would be ideal for the club to have a more ideal attacker complementing him as they look to challenge for promotion.

Ulloa was a key part of the famous Leicester side which shocked the World of football and won the Premier League title during the 2015/16 season.

His first team chances have however been very limited this season as he has gone on to make just four appearances in all competitions and the chances are high that the Foxes will allow him to leave in January.

Ulloa is an experienced player who will bring in much needed firepower to Villa.
