West Ham players let down Bilic says Collymore

Football pundit Stan Collymore has hailed West Ham’s 1-0 win over Chelsea on Saturday as being “massive” and when asked about whether he thinks that the Hammers will be relegated, he added that they are a top ten side who had let Slaven Bilic down.

Commenting on the win on Twitter, Colleymore said: “Massive win for West Ham on the back on the back of a grafting performance at City. If they can do that against the better teams, no excuses against teams around them now.

In a separate Tweet when asked about what he thinks West Ham’s survival chances are this season, Collymore said: “Easily a top 10 quality squad, starting to play their way into form. Players let Slav down.”

The East London club registered their first victory in several games and first under manager David Moyes as they defeated the reigning Premier League Champions.

Marko Arnautovic’s sixth minute strike proved to be decisive on the day. Despite the win, Moyes team remains in the relegation zone.

However they can certainly take positives from this result as well as their narrow defeat to runaway League leaders Manchester City last weekend and if they can emulate these types of performances, they will avoid relegation.
