According to Spanish source Don Balon, Everton are considering a move for Barcelona striker Paco Alcacer.
The 24-year-old is struggling to earn regular game time with the Spanish giants and is considering a fresh challenge.
Following their failure to hit the back of the net on a regular basis this season, Sam Allardyce’s team are looking to bring in a new striker and are looking at Alcacer, though they will face competition from Valencia.
Alcacer has so far played ten games this season and scored five goals. Though he has struggled to set the Camp Nou alight, he has shown signs of being a prolific player in the past and at just 24, he will only get better.
Everton will stand a good chance of luring the player should they make their interest known.
Alcacer is likely to be keen on a move and will know that he needs to play regularly if he wants to make the Spain side for the 2018 World Cup.
