Newcastle United are interested in signing Galatasaray forward Garry Rodrigues in the January transfer window, according to Fotomac.
Rafa Benitez is looking for new attacking recruits to bolster Newcastle’s toothless offensive line as the Magpies have struggled to get goals so far this season.
Newcastle have scored only 13 times throughout the course of the current campaign, which is certainly a poor return for a team with the Toons’ lofty aspirations under Benitez.
This has led to Benitez to look for new options up front and the Spaniard seems to have identified an ideal target in the form of Galatasaray forward Garry Rodrigues.
Rodrigues has impressed so far this season for Galatasary, delivering 3 assists as well as goal in 12 appearances so far this and this has led to the interest from Newcastle.
Newcastle are believed to be scouting the Cape Verde international and will soon make a bid for the talented striker.
