Liverpool star Mane reserves special praise for this youngster

Liverpool star Sadio Mane has praised his young team mate Dominic Solanke, who delivered a strong showing after being handed his first Premier League start against Stoke City this week.

Solanke, who made his debut for the England national team debut earlier on this month, created the first goal which was scored by Mane with a clever pass.

The Reds then went on to comfortably win the contest 3-0 after Egyptian international Mohamed Salah also went on to score a brace. Mane was impressed by the all round contribution which Solanke made during the game.

Speaking to the Echo, he said of Solanke: “I think Dom did really well. He played a great pass through to me for the first goal. He’s still very young but I’ve seen him improve during his first few months at the club.

“It was great for him to get an opportunity and I am happy for him. I tried to help Dom as much as I could. I know he’s going to get better and better.”
