Everton keen on making a swoop for African star

Premier League clubs Everton, Stoke City and Watford are among those that are interested in signing Daniel Opare from Augsburg.

Opare’s current contract is set to expire at the end of the season and given the caliber of clubs that are interested in signing him, it is highly unlikely that he will opt to sign a new deal with Augsburg.

The Ghana international could also be bought during the January transfer window for a bargain fee of £2.5 million.

The Premier League trio will however face stiff competition in the race to lure Opare. The likes of AC Milan, Sevilla and Olympique Marseille are also all said to be interested in signing him.

Opare is a versatile player being able to operate on either flank and has represented the likes of Standard Liege, FC Porto, Besiktas and Lens during his senior career.
