Liverpool forward Daniel Sturridge has been linked with a move to join Italian giants AC Milan in the January transfer window, according to Team Talk.
Sturridge has struggled to receive regular starts for Liverpool this season, which has led to the ex-Chelsea man’s place in the World Cup for the England national team to come under threat.
England manager Gareth Southgate made it clear earlier this month that he was not going to select players for the national team based on their reputation and regular football would be necessary to earn a Three Lions call-up for every player.
This means that considering how few starts Sturridge is getting, the prolific striker might be tempted to move away from Anfield in a bid to earn regular first team football and there are already many suitors for the 28-year-old.
One of those teams are believed to be Italian giants AC Milan, who are reportedly planning to continue on their summer spending spree in the January transfer window and Sturridge is touted to be their top target.
