As per Daily Star, bookmakers Betfair have made West Ham favorites to sign Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini ahead of Arsenal during the January transfer window.
The Belgian international is out of contract by summer, and has expressed his willingness to leave Old Trafford having rejected extension offers.
The Red Devils will lose the 29-year-old for free at the end of the season if the situation stays the same, and will likely cash in by January to prevent that.
The Gunners are also interested in Fellaini – a summer target of Turkish giants Galatasaray, but the Hammers hold on advantage because of David Moyes,
The east Londoners’ new boss signed the Europa League winning midfielder during his time at both Everton and Manchester United, and could look to reunite with his one-time favorite charge.
West Ham could do with Fellaini’s versatility, as he can provide unparalleled aerial dominance both in midfield and attack.
Alongside Andy Carroll, Moyes could build a direct style of play around the former Standard Liège man, and landing him by January could prove campaign-changing.
