According to reports, Everton are considering recalling Liam Walsh from his loan spell with Birmingham City during the January transfer window.
Since moving to Birmingham during the summer, Walsh has rarely featured and has made just three appearances in all competitions.young
His loan spell is definitely not going according to plan and will not do any hopes that h may have oof one day becoming a first team regular at Goodison Park any good.
Interim Toffees boss David Unsworth is a big fan of Walsh having worked with him at youth level and is keen to rescue him during the January transfer period.
Despite his failures so far this season, Walsh has definitely proven that he may have what it takes to succeed at the highest level given that he has captained the under 23 side.
From a Toffees perspective, it may worth it loaning Walsh out to a League One side in order to gauge if he can succeed at the highest level.
