According to Spanish source Don Balon, Barcelona are willing to offer Andre Gomes as well as cash to Liverpool for Philippe Coutinho.
Coutinho was strongly linked with a move to the Catalan giants during the summer and Liverpool are said to have rejected three offers from Ernesto Valverde’s team.
It appears that Barcelona will once again attempt to sign the Brazilian during the January transfer window.
Coutinho wanted to move during the summer transfer window and handed in a transfer request to try and force through a move but in the end Jurgen Klopp’s side remained insistent that they would not sell.
There is a strong chance that a deal could therefore happen in the near future. After joining Barcelona from Valencia, Gomes has failed to establish himself within the first team, however he is very talented.
It has now emerged that Barcelona may be willing to offer the Portugal international as well as cash for the services of Coutinho.
