Arsenal are looking to sign Crystal Palace’s Wilfried Zaha as a replacement for Alexis Sanchez, according to reports from the Daily Mail.
Zaha has been in fine form over last two seasons for Crystal Palace, with the highlight of the Ivorian’s time at South London being his role in The Eagles’ sensational survival last season.
This fine form has put Zaha on the shortlist of some of the very top teams in England, with likes of Manchester United, Arsenal and Tottenham all trailing the attacker.
The team that perhaps needs the services of Zaha the most is Arsenal as they look set to lose Alexis Sanchez at the end of the season due to the fact that the Chilean’s contract expires in 2018 and the as a result, Gunners are looking at the 25-year-old as Sanchez’s replacement.
Despite the interest, it will be difficult to land Zaha for Arsenal as the Ivorian just only recently signed a new long term deal with Palace and a bid of at least £35million might be needed to convince the Eagles to part with their star.
