EPL duo and Championship side reportedly keen on Leeds United striking sensation

According to Football Insider, Leeds United teenage striking sensation Mallik Wilks is attracting Everton, Newcastle and Middlesbrough, with the trio lining up January bids.

The 18-year-old is currently on loan until January with League Two side Accrington Stanley, and despite finding it hard to break into the side’s starting XI, he has impressed with 3 goals in 15 appearances.

Wilks’ talents and potential have been recognized by his suitors, with the trio hoping to land him before his value skyrockets.

Although, both Everton and Newcastle have struggled in front of goal this term, managing to find the back of the net on just 10 occasions each, it is highly unlikely that they are looking to add Wilks to their first team striking department.

Boro, however, have a chance, as manager Garry Monk knows the teenager well from his Elland Road days having handed him his full debut last term.

Wilks has a very promising future ahead, and Leeds have to convince him he has a future at Yorkshire when he returns in January, or they could rue losing him in the future.
