Everton set to appoint this man as next manager on £100,000-a-week deal

According to a report published by the BBC, Everton are set to appoint Sam Allardyce as their manager until the end of the season.

After spending heavily during the summer on recruiting new talent, the Toffees were expected to challenge for a top four place this season.

They have however struggled and currently occupy 15th place on the standings after taking 11 points from their opening 11 games.

The club have been without a manager since parting ways with Ronald Koeman last month following their defeat against Arsenal.

The 63-year-old Allardyce will be a good choice to appoint as manager given that he has a reputation of bringing out the best from players who are low in confidence and under-performing.

He is reportedly set to sign a contract which will see him earn £100,000-a-week and he will have former Leicester City boss Craig Shakespeare as his assistant.
