Leeds United boss Christiansen speaks about sack rumours

Leeds United boss Thomas Christiansen has revealed that he doubts that he will be sacked before his club’s next Championship game against Middlesbrough after the international break.

The Whites are aiming to launch a promotion push this season and they showed some good form earlier on in the season and were on top of the League standings towards the end of September.

However they have suffered a series of three straight defeats and are currently in 10th place on the standings.

Given the recent run of form, there is plenty of pressure on Christiansen, though he does feel that he will still be in charge by the time his side takes on Boro after the international break.

When asked about this, he said: “Yes. All these situations will be hard, more pressure. If we lose next game then more pressure than today. This is the business of football. We all know how it is.”
