According to a report published by The Chronicle, Newcastle United manager Rafa Benitez will look to offload striker Aleksandar Mitrovic after failing to offload him during the past two transfer window.
Benitez is said to not be a fan of the Serbian’s attitude and does not view him as being part of his future plans.
This is best highlighted by the fact that the 23 year old has yet to make a Premier League appearance this season and has featured just twice in all competitions.
This will be very disappointing news to some factions of Magpies fans, considering that some of them do view Mitrovic as a favorite due to his high energy displays.
Mitrovic is now on borrowed time at St. James Park and it will be very surprising if he does not leave during the January transfer window. In all fairness, he never really showed sign of being a lethal striker at Newcastle and would be better off elsewhere.
