Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has insisted that the current group of players that he has have the potential to win the Premier League title.
The Reds have come under intense criticism this season and some have questioned whether they can really stand a chance to win major silverware particularly after their 5-0 drubbing at the hands of Manchester City and their 4-1 defeat against Tottenham.
The Merseyside club are currently in sixth position on the League standings and 12 points adrift of first placed Manchester City.
They did manage to claim a morale boosting 3-0 victory over Huddersfield Town this weekend and speaking after the game, Klopp said: “Do I still think it’s possible (to be top)? Yes, 100-per-cent. But I know too it takes time. That’s it. The boys are good enough.”
It however does not look like the Reds will challenge for the Premier League and finishing in the top four should be a priority for them.
