Liverpool are willing to allow Philippe Coutinho to join his dream club Barcelona in the January transfer window if the Catalan giants match the Reds’ asking price of £135 million, according to talkSPORT.
Barcelona had chased Coutinho all summer to replace Neymar at the Nou Camp but were left frustrated after Liverpool refused to budge on their stance not to sell their prized asset.
Although Liverpool got their wish in the summer, it was reported that Coutinho was totally devastated after failing to get his desired move and as a result, was left in tears.
This has led many to speculate as to whether the Brazilian playmaker will be uninspired for Liverpool since the failed move and now the Reds’ alleged decision to make the 25-year-old available for a transfer comes after the playmaker failed to perform in the club’s recent fixtures.
This recent rumors suggest that Liverpool are willing to listen to offers for Coutinho as long as the bid is greater than the asking price of £135 million and Barcelona might be open to match such an asking price.
