Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino has said that striker Harry Kane is a doubt for Spurs crucial Premier League clash against Manchester United this weekend.
Kane, who scored a brace for his club against Liverpool last weekend in a Premier League clash, had to be taken off during the final two minutes of the game.
During the aftermath of the game, Pochettino dismissed concerns suggesting that Kane could be injured but opted to rest the star during his clubs Carabao Cup defeat at the hands of West Ham on Wednesday.
Should Kane not play against United, it will be a major boost for the Red Devils given that the 24 year old is one of the most lethal forwards in World football.
When asked if Kane is an injury doubt, Pochettino replied saying: “We’ll see. We need to assess the team, we were forced to rotate [tonight] for different reasons.”
