Ex-manager impressed by this aspect of Leeds United’s game

Neil Redfearn has revealed that he was impressed by the work-rate shown by Leeds United players during their Bristol City on Saturday.

The Whites recorded a 3-0 victory at Ashton Gate and there performance was one of their most encouraging so far this season.

Redfearn is quoted as having said: “They’ve doubled their work rate from last week, they’ve got a better shape & style to them.”

Leeds headed into the game on the back of three successive losses against Cardiff City, Sheffield Wednesday and Reading and they really needed to step up in order to stop their promotion push to stop losing momentum.

Thomas Christiansen’s side now lie in fourth position on the Championship standings with 23 points from 13 games and they still have to do a lot of hard work if they are to achieve their dream of achieving Premier League status.

The Whites return to action on Tuesday when they take on top flight club Leicester City in a Carabao Cup fourth round encounter which will be played at the King Power Stadium.
