Leeds United eyeing a surprise swoop for Manchester United man

According to a report published by The Sun, Leeds United and Reading are both interested in signing Manchester United striker James Wilson on loan during the January transfer window.

Wilson has openly admitted that he will be willing to move away from United in order to gain regular first team football and considering that he currently does not appear to be a part of Jose Mourinho’s first team plans, a move away from Old Trafford appears to be very likely.

The 21 year old so far has made 20 appearances for the United first team and has managed to find the back of the net four times, with three of his strikes coming in the Premier League.

The Whites will be desperate to sign a new striker in January especially considering that they have failed to find a replacement for Chris Wood who left the club for Burnley during the summer.
