West Ham manager Slaven Bilic has revealed that he is very disappointed with Andy Carroll after the striker was given a red card during the Hammers 1-1 draw with Burnley on Saturday.
Whilst the Hammers had been leading the game through a goal from Michail Antonio, Carroll received his marching orders as a result of two yellow cards within the space of a few first half minutes.
Though the Hammers were reduced to ten men for majority of the game, they managed to keep the lead until late on in the second half when the Clarets managed to find an equalizer through a goal from Chris Wood.
Whilst talking after the game, Bilic told BBC Sport as reported by Sportsmole: “I have no complaints with Andy’s sending off – he’s an experienced player. With the second one you can’t do that, especially two minutes after you’ve been booked. I haven’t spoken to him yet. I’m very disappointed.”
