Christiansen boldly explains why he is certain of Leeds’ victory against Reading

Having lost 3 of their last 4 Championship encounters, Leeds United will attempt to bounce back with a victory when they host Reading on Saturday.

The international break afforded manager Thomas Christiansen the opportunity to reflect on the defeats, and he is hopeful of victory when Jaap Stam’s men come visiting.

In preparation for the game, the Spanish boss claimed hard work has been done on the lapses made in the most recent back-to-back defeats against Cardiff and Sheffield Wednesday.

Ahead of Saturday’s game, Christiansen told the press: “Of course the last two games I’m not happy at all, but we have worked on that.”

Leeds have conceded 9 goals in their last 4 league games, and having been bullied, outmuscled, outthought and outplayed of recent against physical sides, how the manager plans to play against such teams in the future remains to be seen.

Things should be much easier against a Reading side that have picked up just 9 points thus far having lost 5 games and won 2.

The Royals lie in 20th position on the Championship standings, and going by their poor form, leaving Elland Road with a point seems out of reach for them.
