Football pundit Charlie Nicholas has predicted that Anderlecht will win when they face off against Celtic in a Champions League group stage encounter on Wednesday night.
Despite Celtic being strong domestically, their Champions League form has been poor and they were defeated 5-0 by PSG two weeks ago.
Nicholas believes that Brendan Rodgers inability to adjust his side will be costly and predicted a 2-1 victory for the Belgian side.
This match however will be the best chance that the Hoops have of getting points in their group as they still have to play against Bayern Munich whom they will be expected to lose against.
Nicholas said, “Anderlecht sacked their manager and had to come from behind at the weekend, but they are a dangerous side at home.
“I can see it being a feisty affair with both sides desperate for a result and, without evidence of Brendan Rodgers adapting his side, I have to go for Anderlecht to snatch this.”
