Leeds United manager explains why he is facing a headache at the moment

Leeds United manager Thomas Christiansen has praised his team and admitted that he now faces a selection dilemma after they recorded a dramatic victory over Burnley on Tuesday in the League Cup.

After the match finished in a 2-2 draw, the Whites went on to prevail on penalties. Second choice shot stopper for the Yorkshire giants, Andy Lonergan marked his debut for the club on a good note as he pulled of a save which helped his side win the match.

Christiansen made nine changes from his side that had lost to Millwall in the Championship last weekend and was pleased with the way his charges played.

Following the game, Christiansen said, “It says a lot about my squad, that I have a lot of players to choose. This gives me more headaches. It was a tough and long game but we came here with the intention to pass to the next round.”

The win over the Premiership outfit is certainly a good way to restore confidence to the side after their loss in the Championship last weekend.
