Roma star Edin Dzeko has admitted that the Italian club are missing Mohamed Salah after the Egyptian moved to Liverpool during the summer.
Despite being new to the Reds first team, Salah has already managed to establish himself as a key player for Jurgen Klopp’s side and has scored three goals and contributed two assists thus far from six matches in all competitions.
Now following Roma’s Champions League draw with Atletico Madrid on Tuesday, Dzeko admitted that he misses Salah and finds his absence to be a cause for concern.
The Bosnia international said, “I scored many goals last season but it will be a lot tougher this season. I think we miss (Francesco) Totti but we need Salah as well. He used to play close to me and it’s all different now.”
Salah is certainly a huge miss for Roma and Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp will be hoping that the attacker can help his club to challenge for major silverware this season.
