Tottenham have made Wembley their home for this season as a result of massive rehabilitation going on at the White Hart Lane.

The North London club are looking to enlarge the capacity of the 36,000-seat stadium, with the view of returning to a new-look 61,000-seater next August.

Not many LilyWhites fans are keeping track of the massive construction work going on at The Lane, but the club provided a timely reminder of recent.

Tottenham took to Twitter to upload a video of a world-first dividing retractable pitch for the new stadium.

Upon completion, the stadium would be able to host both soccer games and National Football League (American Football) games.

While temporary modifications need to be made for most stadiums built specifically for American football when a soccer game is to be played, Spurs new stadium is being built in a way that 2 different pitches are able to be used on a single ground.

All thanks to the retractable pitch technology.

Having made White Hart Lane a fortress, Tottenham and their fans can’t wait to return, with adapting to new life in Wembley already proving hard, as they are yet to record a league win in both of their home games this term.

The new project is no doubt exciting, and Tottenham faithful have taken to social media to express their admirations of the new ground.
