Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has insisted that he is not stressing over Barcelona’s attempts to sign Philippe Coutinho.
The Reds have already rejected a number of bids from the Catalan giants for Coutinho, the latest of which is believed to be in the region of £119 million.
Ernesto Valverde’s team are seeking a replacement for Neymar who joined PSG in a world record transfer this summer.
Coutinho reportedly wants the move and has handed in a transfer request to the club. He has also yet to feature this season which indicated that he could possibly be trying to force through a move.
Liverpool are however remaining reluctant to sell and Klopp has insisted that the situation is not stressing him. He said, “To be disappointed about different things, you need to have expectations. I don’t have expectations, I don’t think about other clubs to be honest.
“We all have our own problems. If we think we have to do something, we do it. In this moment I would have preferred we finished our business six weeks ago. Let all the rest of the world do what they do. It’s getting more and more different and difficult.”
