Another striker leaves Leeds United

The summer of change at Leeds United has continued as striker Souleymane Doukara has followed Chris Wood out the door at Elland Road.

According to the Yorkshire Evening Post, Doukara has joined Turkish side Osmanlispor after Leeds United agreed to terminate his contract in lieu of him playing out the final year of his deal.

The striker wasn’t included in the EFL Cup squad on Tuesday, and has been on the outskirts of the team all summer. Thomas Christiansen has clearly picked his favorites, and the move is a necessary one for all involved.

The Frenchman scored 18 times in 93 matches while at the club for a fairly respectable total, but he never quite could do enough to firmly become first choice. He now leaves the club for a new adventure.
