Ronald Koeman admits he wants to add at least two more signings this summer window despite spending over £140 million on eight new players, reports The Daily Express.
Everton have already signed Michael Keane, Wayne Rooney, Jordan Pickford, Dany Klaassen, Cuco Martina, Henry Onyekuru, Sandro Ramirez and more recently Gylfi Sigurdsson but Koeman confirms the Toffees are still in the market for another striker and a left back.
Injury to Ramiro Funes Mori means Everton are without any left-footed left back cover for Leighton Baines. Baines has had his fair share of fitness issues over the past few seasons something that Koeman is not willing to gamble on.
The former Southampton manager is also in search of another striker to replace Romelu Lukaku even though he has brought back Wayne Rooney and signed Sandro Ramirez too.
Olivier Giroud was the first choice to replace the Belgian but the Arsenal forward stays committed to the North London side.
Koeman is now said to be interested in bringing in another Arsenal striker Danny Welbeck or Crystal Palace’s Christian Benteke to the Goodison Park.
Will these additions help Everton break into the top four this season? Only time will tell.
