Liverpool reportedly want defender who is also attracting interest from Bayern and Dortmund

As per the Daily Mail, Liverpool are mulling over making a move for Fortuna Sittard centre-back Perr Schuurs.

The 17-year-old had a successful trial with the Reds earlier this year, and to say he was very impressive would be stating the obvious.

Schuurs broke into Sittard’s senior team last summer, making his debut in October 2016 and playing a further 23 times for the Eerste Divisie side.

He’s isn’t expected to become a first team regular at Anfield should a move work out, though.

Instead, the Dutch defender would likely link up with Neil Critchley’s U23s and Steven Gerrard-managed U18s.

Schuurs’ talents and style of play have seen him also attract Ajax, PSV Eindhoven, Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund, and the race for his signature is poised to be a stiff one.

Standing at 6ft 3ins, the teenage sensation is a huge presence in defence, and he is highly touted as one of the next big things to watch out for in the Netherlands having already captained Fortuna Sittard.

He definitely can be a solid player for Liverpool going forward, and snapping him up would be a great move by the Reds.
