Wolves reportedly keen on signing 27-year-old Premier League striker

According to reports, Wolverhampton Wanderers are keen on signing Huddersfield Town’s striker Nahki Wells.

Wolves are aiming to challenge for promotion this season and have shown their intent by luring the likes of John Ruddy, Will Norris, Phil Ofusu-Ayeh, Ryan Bennett, Willy Boly, Roderick Miranda, Barry Douglas, Ruben Neves, Diogo Jota and Leo Bonatini.

Despite having landed Bonatini, Nuno Espirito Santo’s side are still looking to land a new striker before deadline day.

After joining the Terriers from Yorkshire rivals Bradford City in January 2014, the 27-year-old Wells has gone on to establish himself as a key member within the squad and scored 48 goals from 152 appearances for the club.

The Bermuda international also scored ten times last season as his side won promotion to the Premier League. His playing time could however be set to diminish this season in the top flight, meaning that a move could be on the cards.
