Lincoln City manager Danny Cowley has revealed that his club have yet to receive an offer for Sunderland target Sean Raggett.

The Black Cats are said to be interested in the defender who impressed last season during Lincoln’s quarter final run in the FA Cup.

Cowley confirmed that his club have yet to receive offers for the player, saying, “We know nothing about that, but a lot of clubs are interested in him and rightly so.

“We’re just waiting for a solution. There’s always three parties in any potential transfer and it’s got to be right for all three.

“When that happens we’ll move accordingly. But at the moment there’s nothing more to report. You [the media] have got a job to do.”

The Black Cats have made several additions to their squad this summer as they have bolstered their squad with the likes of Jason Steele, Robbin Ruiter, Tyias Browning, Brendan Galloway, Aiden McGeady, Lewis Grabban and James Vaughn.

Manager Simon Grayson is keen to add more faces to his squad before transfer deadline day but has admitted that his club may need to sell players before making additions, which is probably due to the club’s financial constraints.
