Leeds United defender Pontus Jansson has taken to social media platform Twitter to reveal his feelings following his team’s 0-0 draw with Fulham on Tuesday.
The Swedish international Jansson expressed that he is proud of his team-mates for maintaining their unbeaten start to the new season.
He wrote on Twitter, “Proud to see how this team fight for each other. Doesn’t matter who, everyone gives 100% and that will take us far. Thanks for tonight!”
While a draw is nothing to be ashamed of, especially against Fulham who are one of the better sides in the Championship, Thomas Christiansen will know that his side will have to start winning on a regular basis if they wish to challenge for promotion this season.
Jansson had a new defensive partner for the game as the young Conor Shaughnessy was required to step in for the injured Liam Cooper. The Whites currently occupy sixth position on the Championship standings with five points to their name.
