According to reports, Leeds star Chris Wood feels that his club are ruining his dreams by demanding a too high fee for his signature.
The New Zealand international Wood has been linked with Burnley who reportedly had a £12 million bid rejected as the Whites are demanding a fee in the region of £20 million.
Wood is said to have been keen on the move as he wishes to play in the Premier League and he also feels that his current club are ruining his hopes by demanding too high a fee.
A source close to the player said, as per the Daily Star, “Chris knows his stock has never been higher and wants a crack in the Premier League. But he also knows Leeds have to be realistic in their valuation and not hold out for a fee that is over the top.”
Wood was the Championships top scorer last season, having scored 27 goals and this has led to interest around his signature.
