Tottenham boss Pochettino responds to Rose’s entitled comments

Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino has reportedly accepted an apology from Danny Rose after the defender publicly criticized the North London club’s transfer policy and revealed that he is open to joining a new club.

The England international Rose revealed on Thursday that the North London club need to pay their players higher wages as well as sign more well-known players if they wish to improve.  However, it now appears that he has since apologized for the comments.

Pochettino said, “I forgive him and now we move on. Of course [he has a future at Tottenham]. Nothing has changed in my vision or perception here.”

Despite the apology, the comments will only serve to give Manchester United fans increased hope that the Red Devils will manage to sign Rose. The left-back has been the subject of interest of United with Jose Mourinho said to be a fan.

Spurs are currently the only team in the top-flight that have yet to make a new signing this summer.
