According to reports, Aston Villa are interested in signing West Ham midfielder Robert Snodgrass.
Though the 29-year-old Snodgrass only joined the Hammers in January, the East London club are open to listening to offers for the player after he failed to deliver during his time at the club thus far.
During 15 Premier League appearances for the Hammers during the second half of the season, Snodgrass failed to find the back of the net even once.
Villa boss Steve Bruce is known to be a fan of Snodgrass and was actually responsible for signing him at Hull City in 2014 while he was manager of the Tigers.
In December, Bruce also spoke positively of Snodgrass, saying, “I signed Robert Snodgrass, I liked him, I paid £8m for him and if I got the opportunity I would like to have him.”
It remains to be seen if a deal will be reached though as Villa’s financial situation is a bit tight due the FFP regulations.
