Tottenham reportedly keen on 23-year-old who is available for £25million

According to reports, Tottenham Hotspur scouted Valencia right back Joao Cancelo in June and are keen to sign him this summer.

Spurs remain the only side in the Premier League that has yet to make a new signing during the current window and it looks like manager Mauricio Pochettino is favoring working with what he has, rather than making new additions.

A few reinforcements will however be good for the North London side and Cancelo will be a decent purchase, considering that Kyle Walker left for Manchester City.

At the moment, Kyle Walker-Peters is the back up to first choice right back Kieran Trippier and this is not an ideal situation for the Premier League runners-up as Walker-Peters lacks experience at the highest level.

Spurs will have to act quickly if they wish to land Cancelo as it has been reported that Serie A giants Juventus are also interested in signing him and are willing to pay £25 million.
