Long-term £25million-target hands Tottenham boost as he demands transfer

As per Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, Tottenham’s attention has been brought to the fact that Inter Milan midfielder Geoffrey Kondogbia wants to leave the San Siro this summer.

The 24-year-old France international has been on Spurs’ radar of recent, and it’s reported the north London giants are mulling over a move.

Despite arriving for £25million back in 2015, Kondogbia has largely underperformed at Inter, and he wants out in order to get things right ahead of Russia 2018 World Cup.

Spurs are yet to make a signing this summer, and while a Geoffrey Kondogbia can’t in anyway improve their starting XI, he can be a great cover in midfield and in defence.

The former Monaco man triples as a defensive midfielder, a centre-back and a left-back.

With Tottenham meticulous in going about their transfer business, a 3-in-1 signing like Kondogbia’s could make perfect sense. He is young, strong and very technical. This is the type of signing Spurs can risk.
