Liverpool delivered blow as Italian powerhouses reportedly launch bids for potential Coutinho-replacement target

According to Sky Italia, Borussia Dortmund winger and Liverpool target Emre Mor is wanted by Roma, Fiorentina and Inter Milan, and that could very much hinder the Reds’ chances of landing the £12million-valued 20-year-old.

Roma are still looking for a replacement for Mohamed Salah, and with Leicester City playing hard ball on Riyad Mahrez, the Giallorossi are preparing to bid for Mor.

Inter Milan are also keeping tabs on Mor as a potential replacement for Ivan Perisic if he gets his dream move to Manchester United.

Liverpool are very much hoping Philippe Coutinho doesn’t leave for Barcelona, but are keen on Mor as their backup plan if a shocker happens.

The Turkey international featured sparingly for Dortmund last term, and with swoops for Mahmoud Dahoud and Maximilian Philipp completed, he is likely to further drop down the pecking order.

A move is feasible, but Liverpool will have to meet Dortmund’s asking price to have a chance.

Mor impressed in flashes last term and can become a very solid squad player for the Reds next campaign.

However, competition for his services must first be dealt with, and then Coutinho gone to trigger a need.
