Aston Villa reportedly planning a swoop for pacey Premier League attacker

Aston Villa have shown it willingness to bring in Jefferson Montero to bolster the side during this 2017 summer season reports Football Insider.

The Swansea winger has been on the downward spiral with The Swans in recent times and is looking for a switch and a move to Villa could be possible. He is also reportedly engaged in talks with Al- Rayyan, a Qatari outfit.

Montero has had a rough time at Swansea ever since Clement took on as the new manager in the previous season.

With Clement preferring players like Luciano Narsingh, Gylfi Sigurdsson and Jordan Ayew, Montero’s move away from the club is a no-brainer.

He will make a perfect addition to Aston Villa, who have been busy with plenty of transfers this season including John Terry, Sam Johnstone, Ahmed El Mohamady and Glenn Whelan.

Manager Steve Bruce is considering the Ecuadorian, rated at £4.25milion, to ensure the team shines this summer season after being under tremendous pressure since he replaced Roberto Di Matteo.
