Barcelona have turned their sights to Brazilian playmaker Phillipe Coutinho as his national compatriot Neymar nears a sensational exit from Spain, according to The Daily Express.
Barcelona have made Phillipe Coutinho their top transfer priority if Neymar completes a move to PSG. The Spanish giants are also believed to have made contact with the 25-year-old midfielder’s representatives and agreed on personal terms with the player despite having signed a new 5-year contract with the Reds in January.
Liverpool have already rejected a bid worth £82 million for their star player as Jurgen Klopp wants Coutinho to stay at least for another year at the Merseyside.
Barcelona will use the funds made available to them by Neymar’s transfer as they ready a bid worth £90 million for Coutinho.
Reports also suggest The Reds have claimed that Ivan Rakitic will be included in the deal if any agreement is reached between the two clubs.
